Petri Dish Liners made
with Teflon® FEP film are perfect for cell culture applications
that require reduction and elimination of cell loss do
to FEP non-wettable characteristics. Cells can be easily
cultured because they won't stick to the Teflon® film surface.
Teflon® Petri Dish Liners Liners are ideal for contamination-free biological applications. Features an inert, nonstick, noncontaminating surface that is autoclavable (Note - only liner is autoclavable, polystyrene dish will melt in autoclave). Comparable to Inert Petri Dishes made with Teflon® PFA film which start at $14 USD each for 55 mm dia x 15 mm H (60 mL) without a lid. Why pay for a Petri Dish made from PFA when a Teflon® FEP Petri Dish LIners works better for less!!! A variety of custom sizes are available, just provide us with a Petri Dish and we'll make the Teflon® Petri Dish Liner.

We use only Sterilin Polystyrene Single Use Petri Dishes.
- Sterilin was a pioneering force in the introduction of the single use plastic Petri dish and is today one of the world's largest dish manufacturers.
- The Sterilin Petri dish range is comprehensive featuring sizes from 30mm to 140mm and a wide choice of configurations to suit most applications. 90mm dishes are available in single triple or no vent formats and in a choice of colours.
- Produced only from cytotoxicity tested FDA approved virgin polystyrene assuring confidence in every dish.
- Mirror finish moulds and clean-room manufacture ensure the highest achievable optical clarity no noticeable mould marks and no loose particle contamination.
- 90mm 100mm and 140mm Petri dishes are produced and tested in accordance with the BS611 part II standard that includes stringent dimensional and consistency controls.
- The 55mm Petri dish fits 47mm membrane filters making it suitable for water testing.
- Both 90mm and 140mm dishes are ideal for use in automatic plate pourers and both feature wine-rack packaging to further reduce transit damage risk and increase ease of handling. The 140mm dish also has easy grip ridges on its base to aid individual dish handling.
- Coloured dishes enable easy batch separation and identification and are manufactured using cadmium free non-cytotoxic colorants.
- Sterilin compartment dishes are ideal for use when savings in media or incubator space are a consideration.
- The 100mm square dish features 25 compartments each holding 5ml of liquid and having a surface area of 1.8cm². The lid of the compartment 100ml square dish features selectable venting or non-venting positions.
- The 55mm contact plate has a 25cm² surface area and features a numbered grid facilitating colony counting.
- The 50mm deep-form Petri dish is designed for liquid cultures e.g. Mycoplasma culture.
- All Sterilin
Petri dishes are available gamma irradiated if required, whereas
liners are not.
