Flat Bags made with Teflon® film are supplied in packages of ten bags each. Each package
is sealed in polyethylene and shipped in a double-corrugated
box.

Fluorocarbon designs and manufactures to order any size
bag in our in-house manufacturing facility located
in Dover, New Hampshire. Every bag is made in the USA for
any quantity small or large.
Welch
Fluorocarbon developed specifications for NASA to
use for every flight bound heat sealed product. All heat seals are made on state of the art thermal
impulse heat sealing equipment, designed and built by our own engineers.
This insures the optimal seal strength and minimum
shrinkage along the weld. With over 25 years of experience
the standard 1/8" seal width has proven to be
a winner. We specialize in heat sealing fluoropolymers,
but we work with a variety of high performance thin films including:
- 5.0mil PFA Film, Type LP Teflon®
- 2.0mil PFA Film, Type LP Teflon®
- Tedlar® 2.0mil PVF
- DeWal DW200 2.5mil Modified PTFE from
Dyneon
TFM1700 Resin

Gas Sampling Bags Made With Teflon® FEP Film & Tedlar® PVF
Welch Fluorocarbon engineered
bags produced from heat sealed DuPont 5.0mil Teflon® FEP or DuPont 2.0mil Tedlar® PVF
film for the following applications:

an economic alternative to Teflon® film

All
heat seals are made on state of the art thermal impulse heat
sealing equipment, insuring optimal seal strength and minimum
shrinkage along the weld. Custom bags are manufactured from
DuPont Teflon® FEP film. Custom bags are manufactured and packaged using “Kitchen
Clean” conditions to ensure their quality and cleanliness,
with reduced particulate contamination. No bag is too small,
too large or too complicated for the following applications:
- High temp applications
- Sampling
- Inert for non contaminating samples
- Low permeability to liquids, gases, moisture
and organic vapors
- Suitable for cryogenic use
- Laboratory and clean room applications

If
you're interested in mechanically closing your Bag made with Teflon® film ,order a Clip-n-Seal® Closure
System. As of Spring 2005 Welch Fluorocarbon's Bags made with Teflon®
film have 1" added
length to accomodate folding the bag around the polyethylene spline
and
locking the film in place
with the polyethylene clip forming an air tight and water tight mechanical
seal.
